📱 Build a SaaS or mobile app with AI builders

AI app builders (Blink, Lovable, Bolt, Replit and similar) now handle the parts that used to require a dev team: accounts, databases, payments, even mobile packaging. That makes a one-person SaaS or mobile app possible — if you build in the right order. Here's that order.

Step 0: One sentence, one user, one job

Step 1: Spec the data before the screens

Apps are databases wearing interfaces. Get the nouns right first:

Step 2: Build in vertical slices

Don't generate the whole app. Build one complete path — sign up → create a thing → see the thing — and test it before adding the next slice. In the builder, that means one feature per prompt, tested, then the next. When something breaks, fix that slice; never regenerate the app.

Step 3: The parts people skip (that decide everything)

• Auth & data safety: use the builder's built-in accounts and database; ask it directly "who can see whose data? show me the rules." Test with two accounts.
• Payments: builders integrate Stripe-type checkout — one plan, one price for v1. Pricing experiments come after users exist.
• Mobile: start as a web app installable to the home screen (PWA). App-store packaging is a later step most v1s don't need — validate first.

Step 4: Ten real users before ten features

Give it to ten people who match user #1. Watch three of them use it silently. Their confusion is your roadmap — and their willingness to pay is the only validation that counts.
