๐ A month of social posts in one afternoon
Posting daily is easy for exactly nine days, then life happens. Batching is the fix: one afternoon, thirty days of posts. Here's the full sitting, start to finish.
Before you start: the brief
Ten minutes of setup makes every prompt better for months. Fill this out once and save it:
MY CONTENT BRIEF
Business: [name, what you do, town]
Customers: [who they are, what they care about]
Tone: [e.g., friendly, plain-spoken, a little dry humor]
What I sell most: [top 2-3 products/services]
What makes us different: [1-2 sentences]
Things I never want in my posts: [e.g., hashtag walls, hype words, emojis in every line]
The batching session
1. Generate the calendar (10 min)
Using my content brief above, create a 30-day social calendar with a one-line topic per day. Mix: 10 helpful tips, 6 behind-the-scenes, 5 customer-question answers, 4 product/service spotlights, 3 local/seasonal posts, 2 direct offers. Output as a numbered list.
2. Write the posts in batches of ten (45 min)
Write posts 1-10 from the calendar. Each: under 80 words, hook in the first line, one idea per post, end with either a question or a simple call to action. Match my brief's tone. Number them.
Repeat for 11โ20 and 21โ30. Edit as you go โ kill anything that doesn't sound like you.
3. Schedule (30 min)
Load everything into Meta Business Suite (free) or your scheduler of choice. Aim for 4โ5 posts a week; keep the extras as spares for slow weeks.
The 80/20 edit: AI gets you 80% there. Your 20% โ a local detail, a customer's name (with permission), this week's weather โ is what makes people stop scrolling.
Don't schedule and disappear. Fifteen minutes of replying to comments each week does more for reach than five extra posts.
