Step 1: Define your brand kit in one prompt
Write this once, save it, paste it at the start of every design session:
MY BRAND KIT
Business: [name + what you do]
Colors: primary [hex], dark [hex], accent [hex] (find yours with a color picker on your logo)
Font feel: [clean/modern, bold/industrial, warm/friendly]
Overall vibe: [e.g., trustworthy local pro, not corporate, not cutesy]
Never use: [e.g., stock-photo handshakes, neon gradients, cluttered layouts]
Step 2: Generate layout concepts
Ask your AI to act as a designer before you open any design tool:
Using my brand kit, design a reusable template concept for [quote posts / before-after posts / weekly tip posts]. Describe exactly: layout composition, where text sits, font sizes and hierarchy, color placement, and one visual element that makes it recognizable as mine. Then give me a simplified version I can rebuild in Canva in 10 minutes.
Step 3: Build once in Canva, reuse forever
- Rebuild the described template in Canva (free tier is fine) using your exact hex codes.
- Save it as a template. Duplicate for every new post — change only the words and photo.
- Make 3-4 template types max: tip post, offer post, photo post, review post. Constraint = consistency.
Step 4: AI-generated imagery (carefully)
Image generators are good for backgrounds, textures, and illustrations — and risky for anything representing your actual work. Never use AI images that pretend to be your real product, your real team, or a real finished job. Trust is the whole game locally.
Real photos beat everything. A slightly imperfect photo of a real job you finished outperforms a perfect stock image every time. Use AI for polish, not for pretending.
Consistency test: cover the logo. If a regular customer could still tell the post is yours from colors and layout alone, your system is working.
