🛸 Scroll-stopping product ad videos with AI (2 prompts)

The product videos flooding your feed — products floating, assembling mid-air, spinning in impossible ways — used to need a studio and a motion designer. Now they need a clean product photo and two well-built prompts. Here's the workflow.

What you need

One clean product photo — good lighting, plain background. Shoot against a white wall or use a background remover first. This matters more than the AI tool.
An AI video generator that does image-to-video (Higgsfield, Runway, Kling, and others all work — pick one and learn it rather than sampling all of them).
Claude or ChatGPT to write the motion prompt, because describing motion well is the hard part.

Prompt 1: The concept

You write prompts for AI video generators. My product: [what it is, size, materials, what it does]. My brand feel: [premium / rugged / playful]. Give me 5 short-video ad concepts where the product is the hero — think floating, assembling, exploding into parts and reassembling, defying gravity. For each: a one-line concept, why it stops the scroll, and which single moment is the "money shot."

Prompt 2: The motion prompt

Pick your favorite concept, then have AI write the actual generation prompt:

Write an image-to-video generation prompt for concept #[X]. Rules: describe the camera (slow push-in, orbit, locked off), the product's motion in physical terms (lifts gently, rotates 180°, parts separate and hover), the lighting and mood, and what stays still. Under 100 words, no vague words like "epic" or "cinematic" — concrete physical description only.

Feed the photo plus that prompt into your video tool. Generate 3–4 takes; motion models are slot-machine-y, and the second or third pull is often the keeper.

Finish it like an ad

Trim to the money shot. Your ad is 6–15 seconds. Cut everything before the motion starts.
Add text overlay: one benefit line, one offer line. That's it.
Add sound — a whoosh and a soft landing thump sell the physics. Trending audio if it's organic content.

Truth in advertising still applies. Floating is style. But don't let AI video show the product doing something it can't actually do, or looking materially different from reality. Style the sizzle, never fake the steak.
